Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos
Most robot vacuum-mop combos can be customized using an application that allows you to save maps of your home as well as set cleaning schedules and select mopping options. They also allow you to alter suction power and fine tune the amount of water and scrubbing action your mop uses.
A mapping function can help your robot navigate through rooms. An obstacle avoidance feature will stop it from running into wires, furniture or even stray toys. best robot vacuum cleaner are essential in my house that is filled with toys.
1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the company's flagship mop and vacuum, so it naturally comes packed with features. It can sweep and mop simultaneously, and can even lift its mop pads or brushes so that soft surfaces don't get wet. It can also see and avoid obstacles, with the ability to recognize pets, plants and other small objects.
The robotic vacuum's maximum suction power is 6 000 pascals. This is the highest power of any robot vacuum we have test to date. It's also equipped with PreciSense LiDAR navigation to track its location, which prevents it from getting stuck on objects.
Mopping capabilities are also impressive, with the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply constant pressure of over 6 Newtons to the mop pad to provide deep cleaning. It also has a mop lifter system which lifts the pad automatically as it changes between tile and laminate, hardwood and carpet or rugs, in order to avoid soaking soft surfaces.
The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self drying features. The pad can be rinsing and drying in the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty before returning to the dock. This means you can just leave it in place and forget it, only having to clean the dust bag and refill the water tank every now and then.
This is all powered by a lithium-ion battery of 5,200mAh. I ran it on its normal mop and vac settings for approximately 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to run low on power and return to its base to recharge. This isn't far off from the 180 minutes that Roborock claims and is at par other hybrids I've tested.
It's a comprehensive, reliable product. The only downside is that it's costly. But, the sheer number of features makes it a tempting option for anyone who wants to get rid of their old stick vacuum and mops. If you are able to justify the price, we highly recommend checking this one out.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a high-end mop and robot vacuum. Its premium price tag is justified by its robust features, which include the capacity to vacuum large volumes and two gyrating mop mops. It comes with an app-enabled smart control system and powerful obstacle-avoidance technology.
The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop combinations out there with a suggested retail price of 999 euros. In my tests, it did well across all areas of the house, removing 98.4 percent of debris from all floors and managing to lift long hair without getting caught in. The mops also performed well with excellent cleaning results with less effort than many mid-range models. This was thanks to their rotational motion and the powerful cleaning solution.
The docking station is the primary selling aspect of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and advanced. The docking station emptys the dustbin into a bag for dirt, fills up the tank with water to use for mopping, and even dry mop pads. It features a real-time risk detection system, and its intelligent controls let you schedule regular cleaning sessions.
The L10S Ultra does not offer the best performance in removing carpet debris compared to the other hybrid mops I tested. In addition the mops aren't adept at removing stubborn stains as those found in the top Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
Despite the L10S Ultra’s high-end features it still requires regular maintenance. To prevent the growth of mildew or unpleasant smells, the base station dustbag, water, and tanks need to be cleaned regularly, emptied, and dried. It is also important to keep in mind that the mop pads, that are bought separately, will need to be replaced on a regular basis too.
With the L10S Ultra's pricey cost and robust features I would recommend it to anyone with the budget for it. If you're on a budget I suggest a more basic model that allows you to save money and enjoy hands-free cleaning in your home. It's worth noting that even it's true that the L10S Ultra is the best robot vacuum and mop you can purchase but its high cost and constant maintenance will ultimately make it more of a want than a need.
3. Eufy S1 Pro
Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop you need to clean up messes and clean dirt off your hard floors. This high-powered robovac and mop combo packs a strong 8,000 Pa of suction power, an impressively large battery capacity to power mopping and vacuuming and a top-of-the-line obstacles-avoiding. It even has a roller mop that cleans itself as it moves, which makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that require users to return to their base station mid-clean in order to rinse off the mop pad.
The S1 Pro has a unique mopping system that is distinct from the spinning discs and microfibre pads of other robots. The roller is nearly the entire width of the robot, and it gets a constant supply of clean water that is filtered and ozonated from the dock. While it spins the roller scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt and any dry debris is picked up by the side brushes or swept away into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro is able to dump dirty mop water in its base station where it is sucked up by the tank's heater elements and empty into a larger storage container. The tank that is onboard holds a good amount of water and can handle a half dozen mopping sessions before running dry.
The S1 Pro comes ready to use out of the package as do other robotic vacuums/mops. It does need to be filled with clean water, however this is easy to do within the cleaning dock. You can also add cleaning solution to the dock, in case you want to have the option of using your own cleaner. If you do select this option you'll need to purchase the cleaning solution from Eufy which is more expensive than other robot brands that allow you to use your personal cleaner of choice.
Like most robots, the S1 Pro did well in the area of coverage and navigation efficiency. It was quick to map the space and navigated around furniture. It got stuck on carpets with larger piles a couple of times during my tests. However, this could be improved by updating the software. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that offers lots of features at affordable prices.
4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock's basic mop and vacuum, and it has some outstanding features. Its multi-function dock drains the robot's dirtbag, and refills its water tanks, as well as washing and sanitizing mop pads as it moves. The mopping system itself is capable cleaning a good bit of an area before it needs to return to its dock and the vacuum's powerful suction is capable of removing dirt and pet hair that accumulates on carpets.
The application that runs the appliance is quite dense, and offers a variety of options for customizing the cleaning process. You can clean manually the entire area that are mapped by this device, or select individual rooms, an expandable zone or a routine you've developed. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It uses the sensors on the mop to map the area and determine the most efficient way to clean it.
The Qrevo did well during our tests, just like all the Roborock models we've test. Its navigation system performs well by quickly mapping rooms and cleaning in a neat way. Its 'Normal' pathing setting does an excellent job of covering a room, leaving no major gaps or missing areas. Reactive Tech's hazard avoidance function works well, but it's not as sophisticated as the color camera systems on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can spot hazards such as thick carpets however it won't always be able to detect smaller items like rug tassels or electrical wires.
This machine has one major problem: it doesn't offer a mop after vacuuming. This could be a problem for people who vacuum a lot before using their robot. Thankfully, there's an easy solution: the app offers the option to "clean up" at the end of every vacuuming session. This allows you to use the mopping feature of the vacuum to eliminate the last remnants of debris and dust left behind by your vacuuming. It's a nice addition and helps the robot to make its clean better than its competitors with lower prices.
